Warmington Recognized as One of OC's Biggest Companies, Profiled for Big Revenue Strategy

The Warmington group of companies recently garnered some high profile industry recognition for its track record of impressive and increasing revenue. Warmington was named one of the Orange County Business Journal's Biggest Private Companies and Builder and Developer Magazine profiled Warmington's strategy for big revenue.

OCBJ: Orange County's Biggest Private Companies

Highlighted as a 'newcomer' this year in the June 23-29, 2014 issue, the Warmington group of companies debuted at number 80 on a OCBJ's list of 103 of the largest private companies in Orange County. To be eligible, these companies must have $100 million or more in annual revenue. Warmington's annual revenue of $164 million in 2013 solidified the group's position as a large and leading Orange County-based private company.

Professional Builder: Warmington's Strategy for Big Revenue

Professional Builder reported in May that Warmington Residential was once again among the industry's biggest gainers with a 65-percent jump in revenue last year to $123.5 million, as closings more than doubled to 623 compared with 2012.

In a Q&A interview, editor, Mike Beirne, talks to Warmington president and CEO Jim Warmington, Jr. about the company's strategy of finding off-market niche deals and avoiding head-to-head competition with public builders. The family owned business started as a custom home builder in 1926 and is now the Warmington Group of Companies, which includes Warmington Properties, Château Interiors & Design, and Studio Chateau, a startup that provides interior design software support to other builders.
